We are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our might, keeping the words that God has commanded us. We are then to recite these words to our children and our children’s children, talking about them when we are at home and when we are away, when we lie down and when we rise (adapted Deuteronomy 6:5-7).

But how are we to know the words that God commands us?

We are compelled to respond to the Holy Spirit’s call to deepen our knowledge through reading and studying the Holy Scriptures, devoting ourselves to living a life of prayer, and discerning our God-given gifts and talents for glorifying God. Through study, prayer and discernment, we begin to realize and discover that our life-stories are being weaved into the bigger story – God’story.

Transformed Lives through Intentional Faith Development Ministries will:

- Set one's heart on fire for Jesus Christ

- Be in constant conversation with God through prayer

- Always be listening for the Holy Spirit to speak

- Experience joy in an abundant life with Christ through using God-given gifts in mission

- Intentionally and courageously tell their children, their children's children, and all those they encounter - their story within God's story
